In common with many networking groups, The BCC hold regular open days.

Generally, these are held on the last Thursday of each month and they’re intended to give new people an insight into the group and offer existing group members an opportunity to network with some new people.

Anyone can come along to one of our open days there are no real restrictions – all we ask is that you fill in the form on our website to help with the catering arrangements and pay the regular meeting fee of £13 on the day.
In common with many groups, we do operate a one member one trade category system – this effectively locks out competition for the membership. However, that restriction is lifted for open day meetings – if you come along and find that your category has been taken, you can still be added to the waiting list and enjoy a relaxed open networking experience – followed by an all you can eat full English breakfast afterwards.

From the regular meeting fee of £13 we deduct £10 to go to the hotel for the room hire and the breakfast, the remaining £3 is used to fund any admin that the group needs. such as a small amount of printing and stationery.

Over the last 5 years, the group has donated in excess of £18,000 to local good causes – this makes us unique – everything received into the group is spent locally, not sent to a franchise owner or remote business organisation. Nobody is paid to run the group and no members have special privileges over and above any other member.
